Encite’s Dermatology Specific EHR Automates PQRS Reporting with the AAD
December 5, 2011
Charlotte, NC- December 5, 2011 - Encite Inc., a leader in Healthcare Software Development specializing in Dermatology, is pleased to announce the automation of PQRS reporting with the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). Encite invites dermatologist with the use of our EHR to participate in the automated process of capturing Medicare patient quality measures through the AAD‘s Quality Report System (QRS) registry module. Data is uploaded to the AAD registry through Encite’s QRS feature within the EHR software application. The investment is $ 249 per physician through the AAD and is available at www.aad.org/qrs.
The Quality Report System (QRS), developed by NetHealth for the AAD, submits data to the Physician Quality Report System (PQRS) developed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. Participation in QRS provides physicians who report best practice quality measures the opportunity to earn a financial incentive of 1 percent of total Medicare allowed charges in 2011.
This integrated QRS feature demonstrates Encite’s commitment to the medical profession of dermatology. The QRS feature will assist the physicians in providing better patient care.
